In the first shot that we view, we see a sort of code that looks like it comes from a computer, the viewer at the moment doesn't actually know what this is, but they automatically get the impression that this film must be about computers or hacking of some sort. We start to get the effect when it seems like we are tracking into the code to see what is on the otherside of this computer screen. This tracking movement then starts to make the audience feel uneasy as they don't know what, but they know something strange is about to happen, and they don't like the idea that they don't know what this is. They also feel uneasy with the fact this couldn't happen in real life, which gives a sense of sci-fi.

Survey Analysis

Presentation 1

This presentation is is the feedback that we got from a variety of people. We chose random people to ask questions about what different genres they preferred etc. We had to find out this information because then we have more background information about what people actually liked especially as the people that we asked these questions were our target audience and its essential to have this information.

Possible locations

I think we could use this as a possible location because it has such low key lighting. It looks mysterious and i think if we used the right lighting while we are filming we could use this location to our advantage and make it look more like a sci-fi thiller.
This may be a good place to set our sci-fi/thriller as it is typical for a thriller to be set in a bathroom we found this out by the evidence we researched through our evaluations and the fact we watched all different other thrillers/sci-fi's. I think if we made it low key lighting it could make it very tense throughout it.
This could be a good place to set our thriller, because I think it's quite dark looking which automatically brings us into a more nervous theme especially with the dark wood. I think all of our scenes need to be set in a house aswell because ours is about computers and hacking and we need to be inside to do that.

Vox Pop

This video is a different set of people answering the questions that we asked them to help us with planning our opening sequence. With this we found out different facts which we will use towards different parts of our opening sequence, which is how this video has benifitted us. The people that we asked are all people that are included in our grouped target audience. We tried to make sure that we asked these sort of people to make sure we knew what our audience would like to see so they wouldn't be disappointed when they viewed our opening sequence.

Surveys

These are two examples of the sheets of feedback we got received from our audience.  Our audience gave us detailed and thorough feedback making it easier for us to think about our ideas and how we want to carry on further. We found out what interests them and what they would actually like to see when watching a film, so we used this information to make sure we include it in our film.
